MAAG is a free ebook about chess, released under Creative Commons (BY-NC-ND) licence, which aims to develop a self training methodology to improve your chess over time. The authors are 3 members of the Italian Chess Community website Giocareascacchi, signed up under the usernames of bini, Carotino and ghiceda.
Inside the ebook, they explains who is this for: This book is the result of hours over books, magazines, articles, interviews, games, but we also asked questions to several Chess Masters (and more). Finally, we summed up a complete and organic self improvement and training methodology in order to significantly improve your chess quality. Every chess player can do that but you need passion, seriousness and constancy along the way. The tools described aren't new at all and the aim of the book was to gather all those tools together in a structured way in order to use them for training. This is just an excerpt of the introduction, but you already understand why this ebook is already downloaded 150+ times in Italian, in just few days. If you are interested in and you know the Italian language you can download it too starting from here |

Why this wiki?
The original ebook is written in Italian, and it will be amazing if every chess player can get this book and contribute with insights, feedbacks, and contents. This wiki is the tool to translate and deploy MAAG in English.
But we want to go beyond. We would like other people around the world to embrace and join the project. Every chess player (international chess masters and trainers too!) can bring their experience inside the ebook, by writing new sections and specific tactical exercises and reviewing.
MAAG is amazing, isn't it?
